Lucrecia Wamba is an experienced professional in community relations and stakeholder management with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Manager of Community Relations at Syrah Resources Ltd since February 2023, Lucrecia is responsible for stakeholder management, community development, land management, resettlement, and grievance processes. Prior to this role, Lucrecia directed community relations at Portucel Mocambique from April 2014 to January 2023, overseeing project dissemination, grievance management, and stakeholder engagement. Additional experience includes working as a Master Sustainability Analyst at Vale Moçambique, where Lucrecia focused on social investments and community livelihoods projects, and serving as the Country Manager for the Southern Africa AIDS Trust, facilitating responses to HIV and AIDS. Earlier roles include Projects Coordinator and Interim Executive Director at Associação Reconstruindo a Esperança. Lucrecia holds a specialization in Human Resources Management from Universidade Politécnica de Moçambique and a degree in Psychology and Pedagogy from Universidade Pedagógica de Moçambique.
