Shaun Verner

Shaun Verner is the current Managing Director & CEO at Syrah Resources. Prior to this, they were the Executive General Manager - Sales and Marketing at Syrah Resources Ltd from October 2016 to January 2017. Before that, Shaun held various marketing positions at BHP Billiton from January 2015 to July 2011, including Vice President Marketing - Coal, Vice President Marketing - Base Metals and Uranium, and Vice President - Freight. Shaun also served as the General Manager, Marketing & Trading - Copper Cathode from January 2008 to December 2010, and as Manager, Global Distribution (Base Metals) from July 2006 to December 2007.

Shaun Verner is a graduate of St Kevins College and has a B.Bus from Monash University. Shaun also has an MSc in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from Cranfield School of Management. Shaun is a GAICD and is currently completing their PhD in Business Administration and Management at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
