Mazen Samman

Mazen Samman has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Assistant General Manager and Chief Financial Officer at Syria Gulf Bank since November 2011. Prior to this role, Mazen held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Bank alBaraka Syria from November 2009 to November 2011. Mazen began a significant career at Bank Audi Syria, where roles included Head of Internal Audit and Chief Accountant from May 2005 to November 2009. Earlier experience was gained at Arab National Bank as a Finance and MIS Officer from June 2000 to May 2005. Mazen earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from The American University in Washington DC between 1989 and 1994.
