Hanadi al-Shaqie

Hanadi Al-shaqie is an experienced professional specializing in sexual and gender-based violence case management and women's empowerment. Currently serving as SGBV Case Manager at the Syrian Arab Red Crescent since January 2022 and as Women's Empowerment Program Manager and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) focal point at UNHCR since February 2023, Hanadi possesses a strong commitment to advocacy and support in these critical areas. Additionally, Hanadi has extensive engineering experience, currently holding a position as Civil Engineer at a structural engineering office since January 2019 and previously working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Kalamoon from October 2017 to September 2018. Hanadi holds a Master's degree in Transportation and Highway Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, both from Damascus University.
