Mark Lee

Mark Lee is the current CEO of Sysco Ireland. Prior to this, they held positions as Chief Operating Officer at Brook Foods and Commercial Director and Marketing & Business Retention Director at Compass Group Ireland.

Lee began their career with Compass Group Ireland in 2009 as Marketing & Business Retention Director. In this role, they were responsible for procurement, new business development, retail marketing, and supply chain management. Mark was also responsible for the company's Sports & Leisure contracts, including catering and cleaning contracts at The Aviva Stadium.

In 2011, Lee was promoted to Commercial Director. In this role, they continued to be responsible for the company's marketing and business retention efforts, as well as product and service procurement and transfer pricing strategy. Mark was also responsible for overseeing the company's supply chain.

Lee left Compass Group Ireland in 2017 to join Brook Foods as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, they helped the company refresh their operational structure, define their brand and customer proposition, and prepare a sales growth strategy. Mark also sat on the company board and made formal recommendations to primary shareholders in relation to organizational structure, creating a health & safety culture, and growth through geographical consolidation.

Lee has been with Sysco since 2018, first as Chief Operating Officer and then as CEO. In their current role, they are responsible for leading the company's operations in Ireland.

Mark Lee completed an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Techniques at Technological University Dublin, followed by a degree in Sales Management at St. Patrick's College Drumcondra.

Mark Lee reports to Kevin Hourican, President & CEO. Mark Lee works with Judith Sansone - EVP, Chief Commercial Officer, Chris Jasper - SVP & President, U.S. Broadline, and Greg Bertrand - EVP, U.S. Foodservice Operations.
