Benjamin LaGrone is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in machine learning, data architecture, and software development. Currently serving as Director of Machine Learning & ModelOps at Sysco since June 2025, Benjamin leads the design and governance of scalable machine learning systems to enhance enterprise decision-making. As CTO of AI & Data Solutions at LeCrown Development since October 2024, responsibilities include driving data architecture initiatives aligned with frameworks like TOGAF and Medallion. Previously, at ExxonMobil from July 2021 to October 2024, Benjamin was pivotal in the evolution of data engineering and machine learning, architecting a data management portal and managing the OSDU platform's release cycle. With a solid foundation in solution architecture and full-stack development gained through roles at Pentair, Shell, and others, Benjamin has consistently improved operational efficiency and governance across various enterprises. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Houston and a certificate in User Innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
