Samuel Hathaway

Samuel Hathaway is a seasoned supply chain professional with significant experience in inventory management and procurement. Currently serving as the Director of Supply Chain Inventory Management at Sysco since October 2016, Samuel leads a team of fourteen buyers in the Pacific coast region and has partnered with technology teams to develop AI-driven procurement tools. Previous roles at Sysco include Region Merchandising Director and various positions in replenishment and category planning, where Samuel focused on training and implementing best practices in inventory management. Earlier experience includes project coordination and buyer/planner roles at SL INDUSTRIES, with a focus on military, aerospace, and medical device projects. Samuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management from Southwest Minnesota State University and an Associate's degree in Business Management from Minnesota West College, complemented by training in dramatic arts.
