Alessandro Brucato

Alessandro Brucato is a Senior Threat Research Engineer at Sysdig since April 2022, bringing significant expertise in computer security and vulnerability assessment. Prior to this role, Alessandro served as a Security Consultant at IMQ Minded Security from January 2020 to April 2022, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, where involvement included developing a novel approach to automated software analysis linked to the DARPA CHESS Program. Alessandro's early career includes an internship as a Security Engineer at Secure Network in late 2017. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, alongside a Diploma Liceo Scientifico from Liceo scientifico Leonardo da Vinci.
