Baskar Srinivasan

Baskar Srinivasan is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and product management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Sysdig since October 2019, Baskar oversees the Runtime Threat Detection and Response Product line, focusing on roadmap strategy and organizational scaling. Previously, Baskar held the position of Director of Engineering at Vera Security, where responsibilities included full ownership of user experience and data encryption workflows, alongside implementing Agile methodologies. Experience as an Engineering Manager at AppSense involved mobile security solutions for iOS and Android, while earlier roles at Akamai Technologies and Netli Inc. involved significant technical leadership and architectural contributions to global infrastructure projects. Baskar began a career at Hewlett-Packard as a Tech Lead and Consultant. Educational background includes a BE (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
