Eric Carter

Eric Carter has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Eric began their career in 1993 as an Image Display Consultant at Cornerstone Technology. Eric then moved on to become a Sales Account Manager at Cornerstone Imaging, where they handled large corporate customers, distributors, and resellers in the Midwest region.

In 1996, Eric joined Pegasus Disk Technologies as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Eric held this position until 2000 when they joined EMC as a Strategic Account Manager. At EMC, they later transitioned into the role of Senior Product Marketing Manager before finally becoming a Senior Product Marketing Manager, responsible for leading various strategic accounts.

After leaving EMC in 2011, Eric joined Riverbed Technology as a Senior Product Marketing Manager. In 2012, they were promoted to Director of Product Marketing, a position they held until 2014.

In 2015, Eric joined Hedvig Inc. as the Senior Director of Marketing, where they played a key role in marketing and advertising efforts until 2017.

Currently, Eric is serving as the Director of Product Marketing at Sysdig, a role they have held since December 2017.

Eric Carter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Pepperdine University, attending from 1986 to 1990. Eric also obtained an AWS Partner: Sales Accreditation (Business) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2023.
