Michele Zuccala

Michele Zuccala has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as a System Engineer at Capitalia. From there, they gained experience as a Software Engineer at Stefano Lungo and Partners in 2007. In 2008, they served as a Computer Forensics Consultant for the Italian National Police - Polizia di Stato, followed by an IT Manager role at Compagnia di Assicurazione e Riass. ARFIN S.p.a. Later, they joined Pro Web Consulting in 2010 as a CTO and took on the additional role of General Manager, Swiss Digital in 2012. In 2016, Zuccala transitioned to ProntoPro as the company's CTO, where they managed and scaled a technology department. Michele left ProntoPro in 2021 and took on roles as an Investor and Advisor at Nibol and as an Advisor at Serenis in the same year. In 2021, they also became the Director of Open Source Engineering at Sysdig. In 2022, Zuccala assumed the position of Senior Director of Engineering, Runtime Security at Sysdig. Finally, as of 2023, they serve as an Advisor at Jet HR.

Michele Zuccala attended Politecnico di Milano from 2006 to 2010, where they studied Telecommunications Engineering. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2006, Michele attended Liceo Linguistico "W. Shakespeare" and obtained their High School degree in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. In addition, Michele has obtained various certifications, including being a Program Committee Member for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America and Europe in 2022 and 2023, being a Triplebyte Certified DevOps Engineer in 2020, and holding certifications in scuba diving and language proficiency in French (DELF) and English (FCE).
