Michele Zuccala

Michele Zuccala is a seasoned senior executive in the tech industry, with a career that reflects his broad expertise across various roles and sectors. Starting as a System Engineer at Capitalia in 2006, he then worked as a Software Engineer at Stefano Lungo and Partners in 2007. In 2008, he served as a Computer Forensics Consultant for the Italian National Police (Polizia di Stato) and later took on the role of IT Manager at Arfin. He joined Pro Web Consulting in 2010 as CTO, and in 2012, he also assumed the role of General Manager at Swiss Digital. By 2016, Zuccala became CTO at ProntoPro, where he scaled and led the technology department until leaving in 2021.

In 2021, he expanded his impact as an Investor and Advisor for Nibol, an Advisor for Serenis, and joined Sysdig as Director of Open Source Engineering. Promoted to Senior Director of Engineering for Runtime Security at Sysdig in 2022, he currently holds advisory responsibilities with Jet HR, beginning in 2023. By 2024, his leadership was further recognized with his promotion to VP of Engineering at Sysdig.

Academically, Zuccala earned a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2006-2010) and previously completed a High School Diploma in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Liceo Linguistico "W. Shakespeare" (2001-2006). His additional certifications include serving as Program Committee Member for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America and Europe (2022, 2023), Triplebyte Certified DevOps Engineer (2020), and holding language proficiency certifications in French (DELF) and English (FCE).
