Miguel Pais

Miguel Pais is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across multiple companies, currently serving as Technical Lead Manager at Sysdig since March 2021, where Miguel focuses on analyzing cloud host and workload vulnerabilities while contributing to the notification system for Sysdig Monitor. Prior to this role, Miguel held positions at Abbott, where expertise was applied to develop a dynamic integration system for blood laboratory operating systems, and at MotorK, where efforts centered on backend development and creating APIs and a content-based car recommendation engine. Earlier experience includes roles at Amaya as a Junior Software Engineer and in research positions at SICS Swedish ICT and INESC-ID. Miguel holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, along with relevant education from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
