Rizwan Ahmad

Rizwan Ahmad is currently the Director, Legal EMEA at Sysdig since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Informatica as a Legal Counsel & DPO from May 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Informatica, Rizwan was an Associate at Latham & Watkins from August 2019 to May 2020 and also served as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter from July 2018 to July 2019. Rizwan started their career at Red Hat as a Corporate Legal Specialist from June 2012 to June 2018.

Rizwan Ahmad's education history includes studying Rechtswissenschaften (Law) at Goethe University Frankfurt and obtaining a Staatsexamen degree. Rizwan also pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) with a specialization in International and European Law at the same university. Rizwan Ahmad completed their Referendariat at OLG Frankfurt, obtaining the 2. Staatsexamen degree. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2021.
