Zaher Hulays

Zaher Hulays has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In their current role as Director of Alliances at Sysdig, they are responsible for driving strategic alliances. Prior to this, they worked at Qumulo as the Director of Cloud & Technology Alliances, where they led a team to scale the company and identified opportunities for future investment. As the Senior Manager of Strategic Alliances and Corporate Development at Xome, Zaher influenced rapid growth through partnerships and played a key role in launching a revenue-generating SaaS solution. Zaher also worked as a Business Development Manager at Columbia Pacific Advisors, LLC, where they made investment decisions in the technology space. In their role as a Venture Capital Analyst at The W Fund, Zaher provided guidance for investments in technology and life sciences companies. Zaher also gained experience as a Product Manager intern at Intellectual Ventures. Before that, Zaher founded DNA Diagnostic Labs, a startup venture focused on genetic testing, where they invented an algorithm and built the first-ever genetic interpretation service in the Middle East. Zaher started their career as a Research Technician at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where they maintained lab supplies and validated research techniques.

Zaher Hulays has a MBA degree in Strategy and Finance from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. Zaher also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Seattle University. In addition, they have obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in July 2020.
