Johannes Altmeppen

Johannes Altmeppen has extensive experience in laboratory automation and marketing, currently serving as the Head of Workflow & Automation at Sysmex Europe since April 2010, where responsibilities include leadership roles in laboratory automation and consultancy. Their career at Sysmex began in 2001 as Head of Product Management Integrated Concept Solutions, where Johannes contributed to the rollout of haematology automation across the EMEA region. Previously, Johannes held positions at Sysmex Deutschland, overseeing the launch of the company’s first haematology automation series in Germany. Early in their career, Johannes worked as Area Manager for Central and Southern Europe & the Middle East at Toa Medical Electronics. Johannes holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Applied Science Hamburg.
