Norbert Heiland

Norbert Heiland has an extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Norbert started their career in 1990 as a System Specialist LIS at Eppendorf Group and later became the Managing Director at BHB GmbH in 1996. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Business Analyst at Sysmex New Zealand. Norbert then became a self-employed IT Consultant from 2004 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Sysmex Europe where they held several positions including Project Manager Health IT Systems, Senior Test Engineer, Team Leader Test Management, and currently serves as the Head of External Software Development.

Norbert Heiland obtained their education in the field of Informatik from the Technical University of Munich, where they pursued a degree as a Diplom-Ingenieur. Norbert attended the university from 1984 to 1990. In addition to their formal educational background, Norbert has also obtained certifications in related areas. In March 2020, they completed a certification course titled "Tech for Good: The Role of ICT in Achieving the SDGs" from SDG A. Prior to that, in December 2019, they obtained a certification in "Age of Sustainable Development" from SDG Academy.
