Shinjiro Akamatsu

Shinjiro Akamatsu currently serves as the Executive Vice President of the Global Management Division at シスメックス株式会社, a position held since April 2021. Prior to this role, Akamatsu was a Board Member at Astrego Diagnostics AB from January 2020 to March 2021 and Senior Vice President at Sysmex Corporation from April 2019 to March 2021. Akamatsu also led Partec GmbH as President & CEO from April 2014 to May 2019 and was involved in strategic development as Director at Sysmex Corporation between October 2010 and December 2013. Additionally, Akamatsu served as Managing Director at Sysmex do Brasil from October 2006 to September 2010. Akamatsu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Power Machinery from Kyushu University, obtained between 1989 and 1994.
