Aaron Jenkins, PE has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Aaron started their career in 1998 as a Project Engineer at Curry Controls Company, where they worked until 2002. During this time, they were involved in various industrial control projects, including electrical design, PLC programming, and system startup. Aaron also developed a custom peak shedding refrigeration control system for a large cold storage facility.
In 2007, Aaron joined EnerNOC and held several roles, including Project Manager and Senior Manager. Aaron was responsible for managing the installation and startup of energy efficiency software for major customers. Aaron led projects involving the development of new methodologies and piloting of new products. Some notable projects included designing and managing the installation of a multi-commodity energy management system for a major manufacturing customer and coordinating a nationwide demand management system for a major retailer.
In 2012, Aaron became the Manager of International Field Operations at EnerNOC, where they relocated to London, UK, to oversee the establishment and growth of the company's market entry. Aaron managed a team responsible for field operations in various countries, including Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. Aaron conducted market research to determine hardware installation requirements and implemented cross-training for team members to ensure adequate coverage. Aaron played a pivotal role in developing markets from the ground up in the UK and Japan.
In 2016, Aaron joined NSite Engineering as the Director of Sales, where they worked until 2018. Aaron then joined James Hardie Building Products as an Engineer, Capital Projects, where they worked until 2021.
Currently, Aaron is working as a Sales Engineer at SYSO Technologies.
Aaron Jenkins, PE completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida in the years 1996 to 1998. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers in December 2009, Professional Engineer from the State of Florida in August 2004, and Certified Demand Side Manager (CDSM) from the Association of Energy Engineers in March 2010.
