Joe started their career in 2008 as a Freelance Designer, providing design, photography, and video services to various clients. Some notable clients included Discovery Network, Scion, CMJ music festival, ABC, and Casio. In 2012, they joined Frank151, where they supported various projects by providing on-location photography for their publication and online news outlet.
In 2013, Joe joined Shacknews LTD, where they worked as a Producer, Editor, and Host. Their responsibilities included creating, editing, and promoting video content on Shacknews' YouTube channel, front-end web design, branding, and art direction, on-location and studio video shoots, written content including reviews and guides, livestream production and host duties, engagement with the community and forums, podcasting, social media management and engagement, tracking and analyzing website traffic growth, and SEO optimization. During their time at Shacknews, their YouTube channel reached over 4 million views and Twitch streams were viewed over 1 million times.
From 2016-2017, Joe worked as a Creative Lead at Greenlit Content before joining System Era Softworks as the Marketing & Communications Lead / Creative Lead for their game Astroneer. Their role involved overseeing marketing and communications strategies for the game.
In addition to their professional roles, Joe also worked as a Videographer/Editor for Live At the Loft, a house party and live music show that was produced periodically in New Jersey. Joe provided video edits consistent with the show's visual aesthetic and captured footage using a DSLR camera. Joe also assisted with event planning and promotion.
Furthermore, Joe has experience in creative direction, logistics, and marketing through their role at Formatic, a clothing company. Joe was involved in various aspects of the company's operations.
Lastly, Joe is the Creator/Founder of The Positive Collective, a group dedicated to helping others in creative ways and supporting creative individuals. They hosted events and brought people together to foster creativity and support. Their involvement with The Positive Collective spanned from 2008 to 2013.
