Skot Butler

Skot Butler joined the Systematic, Inc. Board of Directors in 2021 and was appointed President in 2022. Skot is responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of Systematic, Inc. He joined Systematic after more than two decades in the commercial satellite communications industry, providing satellite and terrestrial communications network solutions to the US DoD and Intelligence communities. Prior to joining Systematic, he was Principal at SpiralForge Group, a management consulting company providing strategic planning, M&A transaction support, new market development, and FOCI mitigation advisory services to commercial and US government customers. Skot spent the preceding 15 years with the world's leading commercial satellite operator, Intelsat - the last five as President of the US Government-focused business unit. He is on the Board of Advisors for Key Bridge Wireless, and is a past director of the Future Space Leaders Foundation, the Washington Space Business Roundtable, and the Society of Satellite Professionals International. Skot holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park. He volunteers for numerous veteran organizations, including Boulder Crest Foundation and Team Rubicon.
