James Horst

James Horst is a skilled Mechanical Designer with extensive experience in CAD modeling and engineering support. Currently employed at Systems, LLC - Poweramp | DLM since October 2022, James specializes in Sustaining Engineering, processing shop orders, and updating 3D CAD models using Autodesk Inventor. Previously, James worked at Dorner Mfg. Corp. from September 2016 to October 2022, where responsibilities expanded from sales support to assisting engineers in new product development. A background in CAD design was developed through roles at Mantz Automation, where James focused on SolidWorks modeling, and as a Mechanical Design Intern at Briggs & Stratton, engaging with various 3D and 2D modeling software. James holds an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Design Technology from Waukesha County Technical College, obtained between 2014 and 2017, and a High School Diploma from Hartford Union High School, graduated in 2014.
