Matthew Laughlin

Matthew Laughlin is a highly experienced music educator and support professional with a diverse background in both teaching and support coordination. Currently serving as Supported Living Coordinator at Systems Unlimited, Inc. since September 2014, Matthew has held various roles within the organization, including Supported Living Supervisor and Lead Direct Support Professional. Since September 2017, Matthew has also been teaching Cello and Theory at Discover Melody. Prior experience includes a position as Performance Assistant at the University of Iowa's Center for New Music and multiple teaching roles at institutions such as the Londonderry School and the Edward Said National Conservatory. Matthew holds a Doctor of Musical Arts and a Master of Arts in Music from the University of Iowa and the University of New Hampshire, respectively, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Cello Performance from Indiana University Bloomington. In addition to music education, Matthew possesses a TEFL Certificate for teaching English as a Second Language.
