Claudio Ieva

Claudio Ieva is a Principal Bridge Engineer 2 at SYSTRA, beginning in April 2024, where notable projects include serving as Technical Lead for the Diddington Lane Overbridge on HS2 Phase 1 and leading the design for the Surrey Langley Skytrain Project in Vancouver, Canada. Previously, at AECOM from September 2015 to March 2024, Claudio held roles ranging from Principal to Graduate Bridge Engineer, managing design and delivery on significant projects such as the Blackfriars Bridge Foreshore and the Msikaba River Gorge Bridge. Early career experience includes contributions to the Riyadh Metro Project, with foundational training in post-tensioning at DEAL and initial exposure to bridge design during an industrial placement at Toto Spa. Claudio holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Building Engineering.
