Giacomo Amico

Giacomo Amico is a BIM Engineer at SYSTRA SWS since October 2020, specializing in the executive design of railway and road projects. Responsibilities include geometric and informational modeling of provisional and permanent structures for a new underground railway station, utilizing tools such as Revit and Dynamo. Giacomo also engages in 4D BIM modeling for excavation and construction phases, coordinating with external designers and constructors through clash detection activities. Prior experience includes an internship at SWS Engineering S.p.A. focused on geometric and informational flow in large infrastructure BIM models and a research assistant position at Politecnico di Torino, supporting educational activities in structural foundations. Giacomo holds a Master's degree in Construction Digital Twin and Artificial Intelligence from Sapienza Università di Roma and multiple engineering degrees from Politecnico di Torino.
