Anna Smaglo

Anna Smaglo has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Anna started their career in 2003 as a Finance Assistant at Unique Digital where they were responsible for the Purchase Ledger function and supported the company's Financial Controller. Anna also took on various ad-hoc projects including staff's financial training.

In 2007, Anna joined Lamex Foods UK as a Management Accountant where they controlled and coordinated a contract ledger function across multiple foreign offices. Anna supported the group Financial Controller in preparing monthly and statutory accounts and acted as the Financial Controller for the company's Swedish branch.

Since 2010, they have been working at SYZYGY. Anna initially held the role of Financial Controller where they oversaw the finance function and provided management information for decision-making. During this time, they also took on the additional responsibility of overseeing the finance function for the newly created NY office. In 2019, Anna was promoted to Finance Director, and they continue to contribute to the company's financial operations.

Anna Smaglo obtained their Bachelor's degree in Italian Language and Literature from Nauczycielskie Kolegium Jezykow Obcych w Gliwicach PL from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Finance, General from Wyzsza Szkola Zarzadzania Marketingowego i Jezykow Obcych Katowice from 2000 to 2005. Lastly, they obtained the FCMA, CGMA qualification from 2007 to 2012.
