David Philyaw

David Philyaw is Co-President of T. A. Loving Company and is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. David is responsible for all building division operations. He has 25 years of construction experience. His focus and expertise includes higher education, healthcare, and has served as the lead construction representative on many of North Carolina’s premiere athletic venues.

David is a 1998 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He is active within the industry. He serves on the Executive Council Member of ECU’s Construction Management Advisory Board. David is also a member of Carolinas AGC and participates in the AIA/CAGC Committee. He holds certifications/credentials from a number of industry groups including Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), the American Institute of Constructors, and United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
