Douglas Trasatt has a solid work experience spanning several industries and roles. Douglas started their career in 1991 as a Regional Sales Manager for The Tape Company, where they successfully opened new accounts and established the first branch office. From 1995 to 1997, they served as the National Sales Manager for Canusa-EMI, where they developed and managed distributors, manufacturers representatives, and direct OEM accounts. At SPX Corporation, where they worked from 1997 to 2001, they held the position of Director of National Accounts and provided training and coaching to sales personnel and distributors. Following that, they joined Standard Abrasives as the Director of National Resellers, responsible for managing national reseller accounts and training the sales team. From 2004 to 2008, they served as the Vice President of Sales at Osborn International, where they reorganized and redeployed the sales department to focus on distribution and end-user business. Douglas then worked as the General Manager-Industrial & OEM Sales Channels at Gemtex/Katy Industries, responsible for industrial and OEM channel sales and marketing. Most recently, they were the Director of Sales & Marketing at Akro-Mils, overseeing industrial, consumer, healthcare, and web-based channel sales and marketing in Canada, US, and Mexico. Currently, Douglas holds the position of Director of Sales and Marketing/Tarsco Bolted Tank at TF Warren Group.
Douglas Trasatt pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they attended from 1984 to 1988. Douglas then went on to pursue an MBA in Management from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, which they completed in 1995. Before their university education, Trasatt attended Naperville North from 1980 to 1984.
