Uri Smashnov

Uri Smashnov is a Principal Data Scientist at T-Mobile since 2025, specializing in RAG validation, language model fine-tuning, and ML/AI CI/CD pipelines and automation. Previously, Uri held the role of Independent Consultant in Data Science, Machine Learning, and RAG Validation at a Stealth Mode company from 2024 to 2025, and worked as a Senior Data Scientist at H2O.ai from 2021 to 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Teradata from 2018 to 2021 and various roles at Amdocs from 1996 to 2017, including Architect, Solution Integration and Implementation line manager, and Software Engineer.
