Andrea Nelson

Andrea Nelson has extensive experience in financial management and operations, currently serving as President and COO of T-Solutions, Inc. since June 2011, and as President of Advance CFO since July 2009, providing CFO services in the Hampton Roads area. Notable past roles include General Manager at International Paper, where Andrea led a $40 million packaging business and managed a $250 million wholesale distribution operation at xpedx. Andrea has held key financial and strategic positions throughout a career starting as a Secondary Level Mathematics Teacher and progressing through roles such as CFO at Corporate Shared Services and Senior Financial Analyst. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BA in Mathematics and Fine Arts from Vanderbilt University.
