Osmar Polo

Osmar Polo has a diverse work experience. Osmar started their career at gedas do Brasil as a Controller. Osmar then moved to gedas as a Group Controller and later became the CFO Assistant & Performance Manager. Osmar then joined T-Systems, where they held various roles including Director de Controlling & Performance Management, Corporate Strategy & Performance Management Director, and Director General of the Public Sector Business Unit. Osmar also served as Acting CFO and member of the Supervisory Board, and later became the CFO deputy and Head of Controlling. Osmar then joined T-Systems Iberia as the CFO and later became the Managing Director (interim) and CFO. Osmar also served as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of T-Systems Iberia before moving on. Osmar has also held positions in other organizations such as Barcelona Global, CHANGE2GROW, Fundación Goethe, Cámara de Comercio Alemana para España, and 22@Network BCN. In their current role, Osmar is the President of the German Chamber of Commerce for Spain.

Osmar Polo completed a Leadership Program at IMD in 2016-2017. In 2010, they attended IESE Business School for the General Management Program. Prior to that, they earned an MBA in Business Economics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Sant´Anna. Osmar also holds a Professional Scrum Master™ I certification from Scrum.org, obtained in 2020.
