Mr. Ling joined the Board in 1996 as an independent director. He has more than 25 years of mechanical engineering and project management expertise in both the public and private sectors. During his career, Mr. Ling has worked for organizations that included the Public Works Department of Singapore, Guthrie Engineering (S) Pte Ltd, ACE Equipment (S) Pte Ltd, and a Singapore consortium company, Mainland Investors (Singapore) Pte Ltd from 1970 to 1995. Mr. Ling, who holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of New South Wales, has been retired since 1996.
