Mr. Teo, their founder, has over 43 years of working experience, more than 38 years of which were directly spent in the structural steelworks industry. As Chairman and Managing Director of the Group, Mr. Teo is responsible for its overall business strategy and the management of its dormitory business. At only 20 years of age, he formed a partnership trading under the name of Teo Contractor to do steel fabrication works and gained valuable hands-on experience. In 1981, he started T T J Design and Engineering Pte Ltd and began to engage in large-scale structural steelworks projects. Through his leadership over the last 32 years, the Group has grown into a leading steel fabricator and a Class S1 Steel Fabricator accredited by the Singapore Structural Steel Society.

Its structural steel solutions are used in an array of industries ranging from commercial building construction and offshore oil and gas to industrial plants.
