Leo A. Fernandez

Leo A. Fernandez, PE, PMP, DBIA is currently working as a Project Director at TYLin. Previously, they served as an Associate Principal at Thornton Tomasetti from 2017 to 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Associate at Stantec from 2013 to 2017. Prior to Stantec, Leo was a Senior Project Manager and Bridge Design Unit Leader at TranSystems from 2002 to 2013. Leo A. started their career as a Project Engineer at HDR from 1998 to 2002, and prior to that, they worked as a Project Engineer at Parsons from 1997 to 1998.

Leo A. Fernandez, PE, PMP, DBIA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1997. Leo A. also holds additional certifications including Designated Design-Build Professional Certification from the Design-Build Institute of America, Professional Engineer (PE) from the New York State Education Department, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
