Michelle Jordan

Michelle Jordan, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the field of civil engineering and project management. Michelle is currently serving as the Principal Project Sponsor Alternative Delivery Method Group at T.Y. Lin International since 2022.

Prior to their current position, Michelle worked at Jacobs from 2018 to 2022, where they held the role of Highway/Civil Department Lead. In this position, they provided leadership to the Civil/Highway department and successfully managed multiple design-build projects, pursuits, and highway design projects.

From 2013 to 2018, Michelle worked at MTA Bridges and Tunnels as the Assistant Director of Alternative Project Delivery and Traffic/Civil Engineering. Their responsibilities included overseeing MTA B&T's design-build projects, ensuring project consistency, and developing design-build procedures for the organization.

Before joining MTA Bridges and Tunnels, Michelle worked at the County of Orange as a Senior Civil Engineer in the Flood Control/Development Support department from 2010 to 2011. Michelle was responsible for guiding the design process of public and private projects, coordinating internal communication, and negotiating agreements with local municipalities and developers.

Michelle also gained experience as a Project Engineer at Orange County Water District from 2009 to 2011. Michelle assisted in the coordination and expansion design of the Groundwater Replenishment System, collaborating with consultants, staff, and executives to ensure project success.

Their early career includes working as a Project Manager/Civil Engineer at the County of Orange, where they managed the design review process for toll roads and served as the Chair of the Toll Road Technical Advisory Committee. Michelle also held various roles as a Civil Engineering Assistant and Jr. Civil Engineer, handling various flood control and project planning responsibilities.

Michelle Jordan, P.E. holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from UC Irvine, which they obtained between 1986 and 1990. In terms of certifications, Michelle has been certified as a Professional Engineer (PE) by the State of Connecticut in January 2021, the New York State Education Department in March 2014, and the State of California in June 1994. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Cyber X from CyberX.
