Ryan Schiffer

Ryan Schiffer, PE, currently serves as a Senior Civil Engineer in the Rail + Transit division at TYLin, where responsibilities include leading Metra station and facility design projects and overseeing civil site improvements. Prior experience includes roles at WSP USA, where Ryan worked as a Transit & Rail Engineer involved in freight and passenger rail infrastructure projects and coordinated design for the Chicago Department of Transportation's resurfacing program. Ryan's career also encompasses various internships and roles, including inspection oversight on significant roadway projects, research in railroad stress analysis, and mentoring engineering students at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from which Ryan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering.
