Sara Ranjbarian

Sara Ranjbarian, P.E., is an accomplished civil engineer specializing in bridge engineering and transportation. Currently serving as a Senior Bridge Engineer at Volkert, Inc. since July 2025, Sara also works as a Bridge Engineer at TYLin since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Transportation Engineer V and IV at the Texas Department of Transportation from January 2022 to June 2023, and as a Bridge Engineer II at Parsons Corporation from April 2019 to November 2021. Earlier career positions included Assistant Engineer at TxDot and Research Assistant at the University of Houston, where research focused on smart oil well cement for deep-sea exploration. Sara earned a Master of Science in Civil Structural Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
