Spencer Ying

Spencer Ying's work experience began in 2011 at Yesware, where they worked as a Software Developer from August 2011 to January 2012. Following that, they joined Twelve Springs in August 2014 as the Director of Technology and remained in this role until October 2016. Finally, in March 2017, Spencer joined Terminal 1 as a Recruiter and Head of Product Development, specializing in technology roles in startups. As the only full-service recruiting agency, Terminal 1 provides exclusive access to roles in Series A (and beyond) startups.

Spencer Ying attended Phillips Exeter Academy from 2001 to 2005. After completing high school, they went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 2009.
