Kevin Larsen

Director at T1D Exchange

Kevin Larsen is the Director at T1D Exchange. Prior to their current position, Kevin was with Optum for 2 years and 3 months where they held various titles including Senior Vice President Clinical Innovation and Translation OptumLabs. Kevin has also been an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota for 21 years. In addition, Kevin has served as the Senior Health IT Adviser for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and as the Enterprise Lean Lead and Health IT Advisor for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Kevin has also been the Medical Director of Meaningful Use for the Office of the National Coordinator of Health IT.

Kevin Larsen attended the University of Minnesota Medical School from 1991 to 1997, where they studied medical education and RPAP. Kevin also attended Concordia College from 1986 to 1990, where they studied biology and chemistry. Kevin was involved in the Concordia Choir and ODK while they were a student there.
