Simon Ittig

Simon Ittig started their work experience as a Master student at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna in 2007. In 2008, they became a PhD student at the Biozentrum der Universität Basel, where they also had a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2012, they joined Type 3 Technologies at the Biozentrum, University of Basel as a Project Manager and PostDoc. Since 2015, they have been the CEO and Co-founder of T3 Pharmaceuticals AG, focusing on developing innovative treatments for cancer patients using live bacteria.

Simon Ittig completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Bern from 2002 to 2004. Simon then pursued further education at ESBS, Ecole supérieure de biotechnologie Strasbourg, where they obtained their MSc / Dipl. Ing. in Biotechnology from 2004 to 2007.
