Travis Sutterfield, PMP, GISP has a wealth of work experience. Travis began their career in 1999 as a Casino Operator and TECH II at South Dakota Vending. In 2002 they moved to the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) as a Natural Resource Engineer II, where they used GIS to create South Dakota's Source Water Assessments for all the public water supply systems in South Dakota. In 2007, they joined EarthTech/AECOM/MicroTech Ellsworth AFB as a Senior GIS Analyst, where they maintained IGI&S Program and QA/QC Data and maintained and managed Versioned ArcSDE database. In 2012, they worked for Critigen as a Senior GIS Analyst, where they worked with Emergency Responders and PMO to update their tracking and response to an emergency, as well as tracking crimes throughout the island and giving crime analysis to the military police. That same year, they joined Geospatial Consulting Group International, LLC (GeoCGI) as a Senior Consultant, where they made recommendations and oversaw the migration of IGI&S services from SDSFIE 2.6 to SDSFIE GeoFidelis Model 3.0. In 2015, they moved to LOUIS BERGER INTERNATIONAL as a Project Manager. In 2019, they worked for WSP-LBUS as a Community Planner and for Cherokee Nation Business Management as a Project Manager. Travis currently works for T3W Business Solutions, Inc. as a Project Manager.
Travis Sutterfield, PMP, GISP, has an education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from South Dakota Mines from 1995 to 2001, and attendance at Stevens High School from 1991 to 1995. Travis has also obtained several certifications, including an ArcGIS Desktop Associate from ESRI in April 2011, CompTIA CTT+ in April 2011, CTP and ATP from ESRI in September 2009, CompTIA Security+ in July 2009, PMP from PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter in August 2017, and GISP from GIS Certification Institute in November 2009.
