Bernhard Pöltl

Bernhard Pöltl has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Bernhard is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director of T60 Consulting GmbH, a position they have held since February 2021.

Prior to this, Bernhard worked at Rheinmetall Defence for over ten years. Bernhard served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Managing Director, and Defence for the company. In this role, they were responsible for R&D, global operations, procurement, and quality management. Bernhard successfully led the company through a critical turnaround situation and managed its ramp-up during a strong growth phase. Bernhard also held the position of Senior Vice President of Procurement, where they had global group procurement responsibility and successfully turned around two major projects.

Before Rheinmetall Defence, Bernhard worked at Airbus as a Senior Manager in the Supply Chain & Quality Department, focusing on procurement for the cabin department. Bernhard also worked at MTU Aero Engines as a Senior Manager in Forward Sourcing, where they had strategic purchasing responsibility and conducted cost optimization workshops with suppliers. Additionally, Bernhard worked at Mannesmann Plastics Machinery as the Group Procurement Coordinator, overseeing strategic holding operations with six brands.

Overall, Bernhard Pöltl has a strong background in managing operations, procurement, and quality management in various industries, including defense, aerospace, and plastic processing machinery.

Bernhard Pöltl began their education in 1992 at the Technical University of Munich, where they pursued a degree in Production Engineering. Bernhard successfully completed their studies in 1998 and was awarded the degree of Dipl.-Ing.

In 2005, Bernhard Pöltl decided to further enhance their educational background and enrolled in the European Institute of Purchasing Management (EIPM). Bernhard pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Procurement/Supply Chain Management. Bernhard completed this program in 2006, expanding their knowledge and skills in the field.

Throughout their education, Bernhard Pöltl has demonstrated a commitment to their field of study, continually striving to enhance their expertise in both production engineering and procurement/supply chain management.
