Wong Kuo Hea

Datuk Amar Abdul Hamed is a qualified forester who possesses more than 30 years’ of experience in forest management and the manufacturing of forest products in Australia and Malaysia. In addition to his role at Ta Ann, Datuk Amar Abdul Hamed is also Chairman of two public-listed companies, Naim Holdings Berhad and Sarawak Plantation Berhad. His experiences at these organisations have allowed him to provide invaluable guidance and support to the executive management team at Ta Ann Group. Datuk Amar Abdul Hamed majored in Science and Forestry respectively in his undergraduate studies at University of Malaya and Australian National University. Subsequently, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Forest Products Utilisation from Oregon State University, US.
