Ludy Castro

Ludy Castro's work experience includes serving as the Head of Flight Ops Support & Business Controller at TAAG-Linhas Aereas de Angola, where they are responsible for improving operational processes and cost control in the flight operations area. They also work as a project manager for flight operations and training projects. Previously, they were a Founding Member and Director of Communication & Marketing at CLUTRAD - Translators & Interpreters. They also have experience as a Senior Safety Auditor at FLY ANGOLA, Regional Operations Manager at INTELC, and Flight Dispatcher at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Additionally, they served as the President of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization - ERAU Chapter.

Ludy Castro has a diverse and extensive education history. From 2020 to 2023, Ludy attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and obtained a Master of Science in Aviation (MSAV) with a focus on Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology & Project Management.

Prior to that, Ludy attended the same university from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics (B.S.A) with a specialization in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. During their undergraduate studies, Ludy also completed a Minor in Business Administration, studying topics such as Airline Management, Corporate Finance, Marketing, Project Management, and Strategic Management.

Additionally, Ludy has obtained several certifications. In 2022, Ludy completed certifications in Aviation Internal Auditor, Quality Management Systems (QMS) for Airlines, and Safety Management Systems (SMS) for Airlines from IATA Training. In the same year, they also completed a Controlo Técnico de Manutenção certification from H2Air Serviços Aéreos.

In 2021, Ludy completed a Curso Geral de Tradução from CRETIL - Regional Center for Translation, Interpretation & Localization. In previous years, Ludy obtained various certifications such as How to Develop your Career Plan from LinkedIn in 2020, Instrument Rating (IRA) from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2020, Learning Personal Branding from LinkedIn in 2019, and Project Management Foundations from Lynda.com and LinkedIn in 2019.

In terms of computer skills, Ludy completed certifications in Microsoft Excel 2016 Introductory, Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 Introductory, and Microsoft Word 2016 Introductory from Pearson in 2016. They also attained a Basic Informatics certification from INEFOP in 2012.

Furthermore, Ludy completed a Quality Control Inspector Level IV certification from CINFOTEC - Centro Integrado de Formação Tecnológica in 2014 and an Industrial Maintenance Electrician certification from INEFOP in 2011.
