Vesa Heikkila Ll.m., Cefa

Vesa Heikkila has extensive work experience in the financial and investment banking industry. Vesa currently serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Oribalt, a Baltic operations company. Prior to this, they were the Founding Partner and Managing Director at Taaleri Capital, an investment banking arm of Taaleri Plc. Vesa also worked at M&A Baltics, where they were a Partner responsible for Nordic Origination and advised on various significant deals in the Nordic-Baltic region. Before that, they held the role of Head of Equity Capital Markets and Partner at E.Öhman J:or Securities Finland Ltd. Vesa also served as the Head of e-Trading at FIM and was a Partner and Managing Director at Privanet Securities Ltd. Vesa started their career at NASDAQ OMX, where they held the position of Vice President in the Derivatives Markets division.

Vesa Heikkila, LL.M., CEFA, completed their education history in a chronological sequence. Vesa began by attending Kastu Senior Secondary School from 1984 to 1986. Following this, they pursued higher education at the Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, where they obtained a Master of Laws degree from 1987 to 1992. In 1995, Vesa Heikkila briefly studied International Law and Legal Studies at the University of Cambridge. Finally, in 2001 and 2002, they attended the Hanken School of Economics to specialize in Finance, General, and earned the CEFA certification.
