Uves Edwards

Uves Edwards has over 20 years of experience in the field of IT security and service delivery. Uves has served in various roles, including Director, IT Security and Service Delivery at TABACALERA USA Inc. where they oversee key functions within the IT department and ensures high-quality service delivery to end users. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Passaic County Community College and as an Information Security Manager at The Vitamin Shoppe, where they managed the company-wide information security program. Uves also has experience as a Systems Engineer/IT Security Analyst at RWJBarnabas Health, a Systems Engineer at Chelsea Computer Consultants, Inc., and as an IT Manager/Systems Admin at JAV Food Corp. and Jamaica Information Service. Throughout their career, Uves has demonstrated expertise in managing network infrastructure, implementing security measures, and executing various IT projects.

Uves Edwards completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) from 2005 to 2009. Later, from 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Phoenix. In addition to their academic qualifications, Uves has obtained various certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² and the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. Uves has also been certified as a CompTIA IT Operations Specialist and a CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist. Further, they obtained the ITIL v3 Foundation Level certification from EXIN in August 2013.
