Mike Makos

Mike Makos has a diverse and extensive work experience in sales, marketing, and business development. Mike has held various leadership roles in different companies, starting with Tavarua Island Surf Company as the National Sales Manager from 1994 to 2000. Mike then worked at Rip Curl as the Director of Marketing from 2000 to 2006. After that, they joined Billabong Group in Australia as the National Sales and Marketing Manager from 2006 to 2013. Here, they successfully grew the business and developed national retail partnerships. Following that, they co-founded Cast & Blast, where they oversaw the brand development and business execution. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as the Regional Sales Manager at TOMS, managing a team and achieving consistent sales growth. Currently, they are the Director of Business Development at Taber Company, Inc., responsible for new business development and brand building strategies.
