Shane Owenby

Shane Owenby has extensive work experience in various leadership roles and industries. Shane is currently the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Tabnine since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at MessageBird from December 2021 to November 2022. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), they held multiple roles including VP, Energy from April 2020 to December 2021, VP, WW Business Development & Specialized Sales from January 2018 to April 2020, and VP & Managing Director, Asia Pacific from October 2009 to December 2017. Shane also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Singapore Internet Exchange (SGIX) from July 2013 to June 2017. Additionally, they were a member of the Board of Advisors at Singapore Management University from 2011 to 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked at Oracle as the Senior Director, Linux & Open Source - Oracle Asia Pacific and at Red Hat Asia Pacific as the Regional Manager, ASEAN and Manager, APAC Sales Engineering. Shane also held the position of International Technical Operations Manager at CollabNet and worked as a Software Engineer and Linux Evangelist at IBM's Linux Technology Center.

Shane Owenby attended Appalachian State University from 1992 to 1996. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
