Kai Huang

Kai Huang is a Research and Development Engineer at Taboola since August 2021, where notable contributions include developing a campaign review automation pipeline utilizing generative AI and creating a predictive audience feature that significantly enhances campaign recommendation performance for advertisers. Previously, Kai worked on a pro bono project with the Chengzhi Educational Foundation, applying generative AI to assist rural teachers. Academic experience includes serving as a Graduate Student in the Multimedia indexing, Retrieval, and Analysis (MiRA) research group at National Taiwan University, focusing on depth estimation, and holding multiple teaching assistant positions. Prior internships include roles at thingnario and Perfect Corp., as well as undergraduate research assistant positions at both MiRA and MiuLab. Kai holds a Master's degree in Information Engineering from National Taiwan University.
