Rob Graham

Principal Software Engineer at Tabula

Rob Graham has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Rob started their career in 1985 as a Senior Software Engineer at GTE Laboratories and later became one of the co-founders of Silc Technologies, Inc. At GTE Laboratories, they worked on graph partitioning, schematic generator, and logic synthesis. In 1991, they joined Digital Equipment Corp. as a Principal Software Engineer, where they supported the Alpha microprocessor design team by working on sequential mapping, buffering algorithms, and delay optimization. In 1993, they moved to Synopsys as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the R&D Manager of the ECO Compiler product. At Synopsys, they designed and implemented algorithms for logic optimization, introduced and enhanced formal verification techniques, and received a patent for digital circuitry verification. In 1998, they joined Synplicity as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, where they continued to work on logic optimization algorithms. Rob then returned to Synopsys in 2004 as a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on physical synthesis optimization and buffering for IC Compiler. Most recently, since 2012, they have been working at Tabula as a Principal Software Engineer, where they have developed algorithms, supported simulation-based verification techniques, and implemented formal verification to eliminate bugs.

Rob Graham earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980. Rob then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing their studies in 1985.
