Tom Spaulding, CEDS

Tom Spaulding, CEDS, has a diverse and extensive work history in the legal and eDiscovery field. Tom began their career at TERIS as a Senior Electronic Account Executive, where they played a key role in transforming the company into a prominent eDiscovery litigation support provider. During their time at TERIS, they achieved notable accomplishments such as securing the company's first managed services client and developing a fixed fee services model. Tom also handled international disputes in various jurisdictions and contributed to the establishment of the company's forensics and project management departments.

Following the acquisition of TERIS by Inventus, Tom continued their role as a Senior Solutions Consultant, focusing on client acquisition and facilitating the company's transition. Inventus grew to become one of the largest Discovery Management Practices globally, working towards reducing costs and risks associated with the discovery process.

Tom then joined Legility as a Managing Shareholder, where they guided the company through a successful acquisition by Consilio. Legility provided legal services and solutions, adapting to the rapidly changing legal landscape. Similarly, Consilio is a global leader in eDiscovery, document review, risk management, and legal consulting.

Currently, Tom is serving as the Vice President of Tech Sales at TackleAI, a company specializing in artificial intelligence solutions.

Tom Spaulding, CEDS obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Digital Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. In July 2015, they obtained a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) certification from the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS).
